Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has named Jamie Mullarkey as head of Property & Energy, Canada. In this role, Mullarkey leads property and energy underwriting in Canada with teams based in Toronto and Vancouver.
He succeeds Yvonne Steiner who has decided to leave Swiss Re.
Mullarkey brings 10 years of industry experience to this role, as a broker and underwriter. Since joining Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in 2011, he has worked on the Property team including rotations abroad to specialize in natural catastrophe modelling and international business. Most recently, he was underwriting team leader, Northeast. responsible for the growth of the property book in New England and upstate New York.
