CEO Legrand Exits Brokerslink

December 7, 2018

Global broking network Brokerslink announced the departure of Jacqueline Legrand as chief executive officer.

After six years based in Europe, Legrand has resigned from her position to return to New York to take on a new professional opportunity and reunite with her family, according to the announcement.

José Manuel Fonseca, next chairman of Brokerslink, will ensure the transition.

Legrand has been involved with Brokerslink since 2009, when she was managing director for international business at Crystal & Co. of New York, with the responsibility of Brokerslink chief operating officer for the Americas. In 2012, when she joined MDS Group, she took on responsibility as Brokerslink regional director EMEA. She has been COO and member of the board at MDS Group, a shareholder of Brokerslink, since 2012.

In her tenure as CEO of Brokerslink, she helped launch the next phase of the firm’s development, following the transition of Brokerslink from an association to a for-profit corporation. “We would like to thank Jacqueline for the extraordinary work she has accomplished in 2018 to establish Brokerslink’s vision, redefine our business model, realign the team, and launch our execution plan. The innovative platforms and offerings she developed with her team will be instrumental for Brokerslink growth,” said Gregory Allard, chairman of Brokerslink.

Brokerslink supports independent brokers from 100 countries with risk management and insurance services.
