BMS Group, the London-based independent specialist re/insurance broker, announced the appointment of Cris Massis as chairman of BMS’s Australian affinity business, effective Nov. 1 and based in Melbourne.
Massis adds significant association leadership and member value expertise to BMS Australia’s affinity clients. He will also focus on growing the business, working with Shamus Breen, managing director of BMS Australia’s Affinity operation.
Massis has more than 20 years of professional and volunteer experience in the healthcare and sports sector and is currently the interim chief executive of Integra Health, an innovative start-up group of multidisciplinary allied health clinics across Australia aiming to provide client-centred health care solutions. He has held positions at the Bob Jane Corp., St Kilda Football Club, CPA Australia, Australian Physiotherapy Association and Advent Health. Massis was also chairman of the Allied Health Professions Australia (AHPA) and holds a range of non-executive healthcare and sports directorships.
