Broker/adviser TigerRisk announced it has appointed Glyn Ridpath a partner in the company’s fast-growing Casualty Practice. Based in London, he will report to James Few, TigerRisk’s CEO UK.
Ridpath started his insurance industry career in the claims department of Aon where he rapidly advanced to become a junior broker. From there he became a senior broker at HSBC where he began developing his casualty specialty expertise. In short order he was named partner at JLT Re where he worked to broaden the company’s offerings. In 2016 Ridpath was named managing director and head of Specialty Casualty at Guy Carpenter. By 2018 he had come full circle and returned to Aon as a managing director.

“Glyn is one of the industry’s leading experts in specialty casualty,” said Few. “We are lucky to have him and are eager to share his expertise with existing and new clients.”
“I am excited to be part of TigerRisk’s growing Casualty Practice,” said Ridpath. “With so much opportunity in the marketplace, TigerRisk is both established and perfectly positioned to grow and provide its clients the innovative solutions and customer advocacy it is known for.”
Ridpath enjoys watching/playing various sports and spending time with his wife and three children.
