Since joining HDI Global in 2019, Hunt has held several senior leadership roles across the business and has played a key role in supporting the company’s growth. During the interim period under Hunt’s leadership, HDI has continued to deliver growth across core business lines, including accident & health, cyber, credit risk, and energy, while maintaining a strong focus on underwriting discipline, operational development, service delivery, and long-term broker and client relationships.

As CEO, Hunt will proceed to lead the UK & Ireland business with a focus on targeted, profitable growth in property, casualty and specialty lines. Key priorities include ongoing investments in technology and data-driven capabilities, the attraction and retention of talent, and the delivery of high-quality service solutions for brokers and clients. An emphasis on excellence across the entire value chain, including further investments in claims and risk engineering, will support active risk management, faster resolution, and deeper insights for clients and brokers.

“Simon brings extensive market knowledge, strong financial expertise, and a clear strategic focus to the role,” commented David Hullin, member of the Executive Board at HDI Global. “As interim CEO, he has provided stability and momentum for the UK & Ireland business in a demanding market environment.”
