The Nebraska Unicameral has passed a bill implementing a file-and-use system for commercial insurance lines, exempting certain large commercial policyholders from the new rate and form filing requirements. Thresholds for exempt commercial policyholders will be established by rule. The bill passed the Unicameral on a vote of 48-0. Nebraska’s governor is expected to sign the measure.
