Buying insurance on the Internet will be easier in Minnesota since the state has enacted the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. The law allows electronic signatures and record keeping to be as binding as manual signatures and paper copies. Minnesota is the ninth state to enact such a law this year. That number should soon grow to 10 when the governor of Maryland signs a similar measure.
