Todd Boyer has joined the Ohio Department of Insurance as Director of Communications. Boyer comes to the department from Attorney General Betty Montgomery’s office, where he most recently served as communications director after serving more than three years as a public information officer for the attorney general’s office.
Boyer also spent a short time as an assistant director for the Ohio office of the National Federation of Independent Business. Boyer will be responsible for the agency’s overall communications functions, including media relations, publications, website development, and special events.
He will also serve as a policy advisor to Director Covington. He joins public information officer John Charlton and communications manager Robert Denhard on the Department’s communications team.
