Two Midwest insurance agencies, one in Ohio and the other in Nebraska, joined the Strategic Independent Agents Alliance.
Hertvik Insurance Agency Inc., of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, has established Mid American Insurance Network Inc.; and All American Insurance Inc. of Lincoln, Neb., has established Midwest Insurance Agency Alliance Inc. — each as a Strategic Master Agency of SIAA, a national insurance agency distribution network.
The Hertvik Insurance Agency was founded in1946 as a life agency by John Hertvik, Sr. It was purchased by John Hertvik, Jr., in 1984 and developed as a P/C business that also offers security related investment products.
All American Insurance was started from scratch in 1972 by Michael M. Meacham. It serves 8,000 individuals and 3,000 businesses in four locations and specializes in small business, contractors and jewelers programs.
