During a brief closing ceremony Sept. 25, at its Fargo headquarters, AAA North Dakota officially sealed its affiliation with The Auto Club Group. The 65,000-member statewide organization joined AAA Chicago Motor Club, AAA Michigan, AAA Nebraska and AAA Wisconsin to bring Auto Club Group membership to 3.4 million members.
Under the terms of the agreement, AAA North Dakota becomes a member of The Auto Club Group including the Auto Club Insurance Association, Auto Club Life Insurance Company and Auto Club Trust, which are also allied with the group.
Gary D. Ostafin, who served as the North Dakota club’s executive vice president, will lead the newest Auto Club Group affiliate as its president and chief operating officer. The club employs about 300 people at eight locations across the state.
