Kansas-based Planet Salvage, Inc., an online marketplace for the automotive recycled parts and salvage vehicle industries, announced that the company has signed a one-year contract with Universal Underwriters Group (UUG), a provider of insurance and financial services for automotive-related businesses, to provide the online solution for UUG’s sale of repossessed and salvage vehicles. The contract enables UUG to leverage Planet Salvage’s AuctionsNetwork technology, its nationwide buyer- base, and its development resources.
Under the contract, Planet Salvage will develop and host UUG’s vehicle auctions site, providing UUG clients with a real-time, online vehicle auction and procurement solution.
