Chicago-based insurance broker Acordia Inc. announced it has begun installing CoverageConnect web-based insurance diagnostic, quoting and binding application software and plans to roll the product out to all of Acordia’s 176 offices throughout North America.
Online risk management diagnostics built by CoverageConnect allow Acordia brokers to provide cost-efficient consultative services to all clients, especially those smaller commercial accounts in secondary market cities. Acordia can also quote and bind accounts on a single visit through CoverageConnect technology.
Once the CoverageConnect technology rollout to its small commercial and Community Accounts business is completed, the technology will be expanded to Acordia’s middle market business.
Discussions have begun with a number of Acordia’s middle market carriers, including some of the carriers already working on the small commercial accounts, in anticipation of the middle market rollout to follow.
