PDA Software Services Inc., headquartered in Overland Park, Kan., announced the launch of an all-lines property and casualty claims management system, ClaimConnect, at Unitrin Direct Insurance Company located in Vista, Calif.
Unitrin Direct, which writes personal automobile insurance, has implemented the system company-wide at its locations in Pennsylvania, California and Florida. Unitrin Direct said ClaimConnect’s functionality, including diary, log notes, correspondence, reserves and payments, and through custom developed interfaces, has improved productivity and streamlined the claims handling process. The company said the system has also improved its communication and response time.
