Zurich N.A. Promotes New LOB Director

Zurich North America’s Underwriting Management and Technical Services group has named Lisa Powers line of business (LOB) director-property.

Powers will report directly to Rob Fishman, chief underwriting officer of Schaumburg, Ill.-based Zurich N.A. and head of the underwriting management and technical services group, formerly the manufacturing services unit.

In her new role, Powers will lead the property segment company wide, working with chief product officers from each of Zurich N.A. business units to establish and implement best practices and develop segmentation and pricing models to deliver superior loss ratios.

Powers, who is based out of the Schaumburg office, most recently served as product manager for the property line of business of underwriting management and technical services. She joined Zurich N.A. in 2000 as highly protected risk director for large account property.
