Zurich N.A. Enhances Small Biz Agents Web Site

July 23, 2003

Schaumburg, Ill.-based Zurich North America has announced enhancements to the automobile risk processing, risk processing tools and documents sections of its eZSB website for agents that write business for small businesses. eZSB gives agents and producers the ability to quote, issue and endorse small commercial business in minutes, allowing them to improve both customer service and account management efficiency.

“This latest round of enhancements was driven by our users and represents Zurich’s commitment to ensuring that working with us is simple and convenient for our agents and producers,” said Darryl Catts, vice president of Small Business Technology.

“We are dedicated to providing a top-notch online service—one that evolves as the needs of our agents and producers evolve. In direct response to user feedback, we have adapted and improved the auto processing features on eZSB to allow agents and producers to obtain premium estimates—even if an underwriting hold occurred—and to easily obtain detailed premium information. These key upgrades, combined with other enhancements such as our new vehicle management screen, provide a state-of-the-art tool for our agents and producers.”

Within the eZSB Automobile Risk Processing component, agents will now experience an improved vehicle information screen, enhanced screen flow for vehicle and garaged location data entry, a new screen for adding additional vehicles and a new vehicle management screen. All these were designed to reduce the chance of human error and increase workflow efficiency.

The eZSB Document section has also undergone improvements, including an enhanced document generation process, a new premium estimate document and a new premium detail document. These enhanced features allowing agents to break down premium details in ways not previously available and efficiently present pertinent information to their clients.

eZSB Risk Processing Tools now feature a new toolbox that allows for simplified navigation around the site and additional support screens. In addition, agents will benefit from a new endorsement activity and policy transaction activity feature that enables agents to obtain a list of transactions and endorsements that were processed for a particular risk. This also will aid in responding to and reconciling billing questions from customers.
