The board of directors of Chicago-based insurer Old Republic International Corp. declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of 17 cents per share. The common stock dividend is payable Sept. 15, 2003, to shareholders of record Sept. 5.
Old Republic International has paid common stock dividends without interruption since 1942. The company currently has approximately 120.8 million common shares outstanding.
