Ohio Casualty Group (OCG), based in Fairfield, received the 2003 Interface Best Practices Award from Applied Systems Inc. OCG was among 15 insurance carriers to be formally recognized at the September Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet) annual conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Ohio Casualty Group staff members Malta Collins, senior Personal Lines Systems analyst, and Craig Anderson, Information Systems software engineer, accepted the award. The awards are designed to publicly recognize companies that are leading the advancement of interface, which provides agents and brokers with standardized workflows for managing multi-company insurance sales, service, and renewals directly from within their agency management systems. To be eligible for the Best Practices Award, a company must currently be engaging in real-time interface transactions in at least three of the following four categories: Policy Transactions, Inquiry Transactions, Claim Transactions, and Download.
