Markel American Insurance Company Appoints Conroy as Marine Director

Pewaukee, Wis.-based Markel American Insurance Company announced the appointment of Thomas Conroy to marine director.

Conroy, who joined Markel American in 1989, has long been committed to the marine industry and insurance marketplace. Before taking the marine director position, Conroy served as claims supervisor where he lead a talented watercraft & recreational vehicle claims team. He is member of the International Association of Marine Investigators and has obtained his Associate in Claims (AIC) Designation.
