The Illinois CPA Society will hold a conference on regulatory issues related to reinsurance, including the latest cases, rulings and legislative issues, in Chicago next month.
The group said the conference will provide attendees an overview on how insolvency proceedings can affect their clients, and that it will feature discussion of how the rising global reinsurance market is impacting current U.S. regulation standards. Another topic will be how alternative risk transfer (ART) can assist in the implementation of corporate risk management programs.
The Illinois CPA Society’s 2004 Reinsurance Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, April 20, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the UBS Conference Center in Chicago. For more information or to register, visit the group’s Web site or call (312) 993-0393.
