Wayne Morgan of St. Joseph, Mo., was installed as president of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents on July 22, 2004, during the association’s annual convention in Osage Beach, Mo. Morgan is managing partner of Tilton Thomas & Morgan in St. Joseph.
Other association officers installed at the convention were:
—President-elect: Richard V. Minor, Insurance Services, Hannibal;
—Vice president: R. Alan Hedrick, County Wide Insurance and Real Estate, Dexter;
—Secretary/treasurer: Mollie Wells, The Wells Insurance Group, St. Louis;
—Past president: Mitchell Mills, Mills & Sons, Clinton;
—IIABA state national director: Richard E. Clift, Bowersox Insurance Agency Co., St. Louis;
—PIA national director: Carrol L. Hess, Jackson Insurance Agency, Maryville.
MAIA’s next convention will be held July 14-16, 2005, at the Chateau on the Lake in Branson, Mo. Founded in 1899, MAIA represents some 4,000 independent agents, brokers and their employees.
