Overland Park, Kan.-based agency franchisor Brooke Corp. announced that 2004 earnings totaled $6.7 million, or 65 cents per diluted share, on 2004 revenues of more than $101 million. Annual earnings increased about 61 percent from 2003 earnings of $4.1 million, or 41 cents per diluted share, and annual revenues increased about 53 percent from 2003 revenues of about $66 million.
Brooke CEO Robert D. Orr also announced a 49 percent increase in quarterly earnings to $1. 4 million, or 14 cents per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2004. This compares to $992,000, or 10 cents per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2003. Quarterly revenues increased 74 percent to $29.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2004, from $17.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2003.
As of Jan. 31, 2005, Brooke’s franchise network was composed of 375 agency locations.
