American Community Mutual Insurance Co. has expanded availability of its small group health care plan for companies with two to 50 employees to Ohio and Iowa.
The health care plan offers insured members access to their own physician or hospital and to specialists without referrals. The plan includes maternity, mental health and substance abuse benefits, and prescription drug options include mail-order plans and generic-drug-only plans. Deductibles range from $250 to $1,500.
The Livonia, Mich.-based insurance company provides coverage to 200,000 people in eight states.
