Ill.’s Euclid to Purchase Environmental Insurance Brokers

Euclid Insurance Services, Inc. in Itasca, Ill., plans to acquire McHenry, Ill.-based Environmental Insurance Brokers, Inc., a commercial insurance agency that specializes in serving the waste-hauling and transportation industries.

As part of the merger, Environmental Insurance Brokers president MarisaMaselli and account executive George Van Denend will join the Euclid team.

According to the companies, the acquisition further strengthens Euclid’s presence in the solid waste industryand transportation insurance sector while leveraging Environmental InsuranceBrokers’ strong presence in both industry classes.

Founded in 1952, Euclid Insurance Services, Inc. has annual revenues of $17 million.
