Ill. Arthur J. Gallagher Names Corporate Vice President

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. recent named Susan McGrath as its corporate vice president and chief human resources officer. She will be replacing Elizabeth Brinkerhoff who is retiring in May 2007.

The company release said that McGrath has 16 years of experience in human resource area. She began her career at GE Capital and held key positions with Ernst & Young, LLP, GE Financial Guaranty Insurance Corp. and GE Capital’s Auto Financial Services. Most recently she worked at GE Commercial Finance as vice president of Human Resources where she provided both domestic and international strategic HR leadership for the inventory financing business.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., is an international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, headquartered in Itasca, Ill. The company has operations in seven countries and does business in 120 countries around the world.
