Mich.-based Professional Concepts Insurance Agency (PCIA) recently announced that Mike Cosgrove has assumed the
role of president and chief operating officer for the firm. In a company statement, it was also announced that Kim Fricke will take over the role of chairman and chief executive officer.
Professional Concepts Insurance Agency (PCIA) provides insurance products and customized risk management services for architects, engineers, accountants, lawyers, financial planners, technology firms
and real estate professionals. Cosgrove has provided advice and served as a resource to many of Michigan’s top architectural, engineering, accounting and law firms, according to the company’s release.
Cosgrove handles many of PCIA’s largest clients, providing risk management consultation, educational seminars, and contract reviews from an insurability and risk management standpoint. He serves the professional associations of his clients by donating his time and expertise. He has served as co-chair and chair of the Engineering Excellence Awards Committee for ACEC/MI and MSPE. He is also the vice chair of the Risk Management Committee for ACEC/MI, and a member of the AIA Membership Committee. Cosgrove has served as treasurer for the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Mich.
