Heller Ehrman recently announced that Timothy W. Burns has
joined its Insurance Recovery practice in the firm’s Madison, Wis. office.
A former American Bar Assn. Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee co-chair, Timothy Burns advises clients on all aspects of corporate indemnification and D&O insurance, including counseling with regard to the indemnification and insurance aspects of securities and derivative litigation, government investigations, initial public offerings, spin-offs, mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcies. Burns also represents policyholders in D&O and other insurance coverage disputes and litigation.
Timothy earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. He also served as a law clerk to Circuit Judge George G. Fagg on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
