A southwest Iowa woman faces charges of arson, attempted murder and child endangerment in connection with a May 26 fire at her home.
Iowa Department of Public Safety officials said Audrey Nicole Gilleland, 24, turned herself in to Montgomery County authorities on June 7. A warrant for her arrested had been issued by the Iowa Fire Marshal’s office.
Authorities investigating the fire allege that Gilleland set fire to an attached garage and left the area while her husband, Jason, and 14-month-old daughter, Macie Nicole Gilleland, were asleep inside the house.
Audrey Gilleland remains in custody on $107,250 bond.
