The Motorist Insurance Group recently announced it has promoted Joel Kratzer, CPA, to vice president of the accounting division after the retirement of longtime Vice President Jim Vermillion.
Vermillion’s retirement and the promotions of Kratzer and Tom Brock were effective May 28. Brock will become assistant vice president of corporate accounting.
Kratzer has been with Motorists since 1981and most recently served as assistant vice president of corporate accounting.
Brock, who will succeed Kratzer as assistant vice president of corporate accounting, began with Motorists in 2004. Before joining Motorists, he worked for National Interstate Corporation and Savage Consulting.
The Motorists Insurance Group based in Columbus, Ohio and is composed of nine property/casualty, life and brokerage companies that operate in 35 states.
