Southfield, Mich.-based Meadowbrook Insurance Group, Inc., a leading specialty risk management insurance company, recently announced that Kristen Netschke has joined the company’s Southfield, Mich. branch office as corporate counsel. Michael Costello, general counsel, secretary, and senior vice president of Meadowbrook Insurance Group, made the announcement.
Netschke assists in the supervision of regulatory, corporate and litigation matters for Meadowbrook. Most recently, she worked as an attorney at Plunkett Cooney in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where she practiced appellate and general litigation. She is currently a member of the American Bar Association’s Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section’s Appellate Advocacy Committee and is part of the Oakland County Bar Association Inns of Court Program. Netschke has also written for several publications including the Michigan Defense Quarterly and Nichols On Eminent Domain.
