Farmington Hills, Mich.-based H.W. Kaufman Financial Group/Burns & Wilcox recently promoted Christopher Zoidis to the position of company vice president. Zoidis joined the company in January 2007 and has 15 years of insurance industry experience. He was promoted to associate vice president in October 2007.
Zoidis will continue to oversee Burns & Wilcox’s Special Risk Division – International, an internal brokerage division, and manages the operations of R.B. Jones, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the H.W. Kaufman Financial Group. R.B. Jones provides specialty lines coverage to insurance wholesalers nationally. Zoidis also serves as director of corporate development and manages acquisition initiatives for the company.
H.W. Kaufman Financial Group is the parent company of Burns & Wilcox, which identifies itself as North America’s largest managing general agent with 38 offices in 24 states.
