Indiana’s Ameriana Insurance Agency, a subsidiary of Ameriana Bank, has agreed to purchase the book of business of the Chapin-Hayworth Insurance Agency Inc., a multi-line property/casualty insurance agency located in New Castle, Ind.
The transaction is expected to close on or before July 1, 2009.
Following the purchase, Ruth Hayworth, the current owner of Chapin-Hayworth Insurance Agency, and her staff will remain and continue to serve existing and new clients as part of Ameriana.
Ameriana Bank owns Ameriana Insurance Agency, a full-service insurance agency, Ameriana Financial Services, which offers securities and insurance products through LPL Financial (Member FINRA/SIPC), and Ameriana Investment Management.
