Cincinnati, Ohio-based Great American Insurance Group’s Environmental Division has expanded its product line to include a combined general and pollution liability insurance product.
This product offers cost efficient solutions to industries that have pollution exposure that is not adequately addressed in their current general liability insurance program, the company said.
General liability coverage is now combined with a choice of pollution coverage in one integrated policy. Initially, Great American will target the following industry classes:
- Plastics manufacturing
- Paints and Coatings manufacturers
- Landfills and Treatment Facilities
- Transfer Stations
- Recycling Facilities
- Warehouse and Storage Facilities
- Cold Storage Warehouses
- Truck Yards
- Miscellaneous light manufacturing
- Water and Wastewater treatment plants
- Fabricated Metal Shops
The new product launch will be led by Kevin Troutman. Troutman recently joined Great American’s Environmental Division in its Plymouth Meeting, Pa., office and brings more than 20 years of casualty and environmental underwriting experience to his post.
