K&K Insurance Group Inc., based in Fort Wayne, Ind., reports that Ross T. Smith, the company’s president and chief executive officer, is retiring after a successful 40-year career in the insurance industry. Smith has been with K&K Insurance for more than six years.
Donald P. Koziol, president and CEO of the Aon Underwriting Managers group, is serving as interim CEO for K&K Insurance.
Founded in 1952, K&K Insurance Group is a managing general underwriter offering more than 50 specialty insurance programs to the sports, leisure and entertainment industries. K&K is a subsidiary of Aon Corporation.
