Heffernan Insurance Brokers announced that Simonne de Villiers has joined the firm’s Chesterfield, Mo., office as a benefits specialist.
Heffernan is a full-service insurance brokerage in the St. Louis and Metro East Illinois areas, offering property and casualty, and life and health insurance.
Prior to joining Heffernan, de Villiers was an insurance broker for Aflac, offering voluntary, ancillary and major medical policies. She has also worked with a large software company, managing the relationship with their healthcare partners. An active business and community volunteer, de Villiers is an ambassador for the Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob Chamber of Commerce and sergeant-at-arms/board member for the Silver Creek Rotary Club.
Heffernan’s Chesterfield office is active in the non-profit segment in both St. Louis and St. Charles counties. The firm supports the YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, the Great Circle agency, St. Patrick’s Center and the St. Louis Crisis Nursery, in addition to several other organizations.
