Marsh U.S. Consumer Names Shiomos Senior VP of HSA Services

Marsh U.S. Consumer, based in Urbandale, Iowa, has appointed Mike Shiomos senior vice president. Shiomos will lead the marketing of Marsh HSA Services, which provides health savings account (HSA) solutions for employers.

Shiomos brings more than 20 years of healthcare benefits experience to Marsh U.S. Consumer. In his new role, he will focus primarily on communicating the advantages of Marsh HSA Services to existing clients and financial institutions across the United States, and enable those organizations to capitalize on the rapidly growing HSA/high-deductible health plan market.

Shiomos joins Marsh U.S. Consumer from America’s Health Care Plan (AHCP), an Irving, Texas-based provider of HSA and major medical insurance products to the self-employed where he was president. He previously was national marketing director for USHEALTH Group and Mid-Atlantic Managing General Agent (MGA) at Colonial Life and Accident Insurance Co.
