Bobette L. Puckett has been appointed president of Alper Services LLC, a Chicago-based insurance services company. Puckett, who will also retain her chief operating officer title and responsibilities, has been a part of the Alper team for 26 years and instrumental in Alper’s growth.
As president, Puckett is charged with a wide variety of responsibilities. She will ensure enterprise-wide growth and further develop creative programs in industry niches where Alper has insurance services expertise: energy, environmental, steel, healthcare, law firms, nonprofit and sophisticated manufacturing and service firms. She will provide professional growth opportunities for team members as well as oversee corporate profitability and fiscal responsibility.
Puckett holds Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations. She is an alumna of the Alpha Phi International Fraternity, an active member of the PIA, The Insurance Roundtable, and NAFE, a board member of the Walter Payton Center Guild, and she sits on various Insurance Advisory Boards. She holds a B.B.A. in Insurance and a B.B.A. in Management Sciences from the University of Iowa.
