Ohio Lieutenant Governor and Department of Insurance Director Mary Taylor has appointed Chris Brock the department’s director of communications. In his new role, Brock oversees communication strategy and planning while coordinating communication activities for the insurance department.
He previously served the department as exchange outreach coordinator and was responsible for policy and outreach for health insurance exchange planning.
Prior to coming to the department, Brock served as the manager of grassroots advocacy for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. He also has served as a communications assistant to the speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives.
