Des Moines, Iowa-based Holmes Murphy & Associates has named Daniel T. Keough as the organization’s CEO and Dennis Bishop as its president, effective Jan. 1, 2012.
Jim Swift will maintain his role as chairman of Holmes Murphy.
As CEO, Keough will oversee the strength and stability of Holmes Murphy. He will ensure operational and financial performance while leading the company’s strategies. Keough will also direct the company’s northern region divisions.
In the role of president, Bishop will support company objectives and best practices. He will oversee Holmes Murphy’s southern region divisions, ensuring growth of new business sales and client retention.
As chairman, Swift will continue to oversee Holmes Murphy growth plans along with client acquisition and retention.
Founded in 1932, Holmes Murphy & Associates, an independent insurance brokerage, has offices in Des Moines, Davenport and Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Denver, Colo.; Dallas, Texas; Kansas City, Kan.; Omaha, Neb.; St. Louis, Mo.; Madison, Wis.; Peoria, Ill.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Sioux Falls, S.D.
