Don Engler has joined Wisconsin-based wholesale insurance firm Scobie Group as vice president of Branch Operations in the Eau Claire, Wis., office, the company announced.
During the past 20-plus years Engler has been in leadership positions with various companies in the insurance industry.
At Scobie Group, he will oversee the management of seven branch offices and will work closely with the senior management team on a variety of projects and initiatives.
Engler holds the CPCU, ARM and IIA designations.
Scobie Group is a family owned company founded by Robert W. Scobie in 1932, and continues to be a leader in the wholesale insurance industry. Headquartered in Eau Claire, Wis., Scobie Group has branch offices in Minneapolis, Minn.; West Des Moines, Iowa; Omaha, Neb.; Waukesha, Wis.; New Albany, Ind., and Arizona. The company has approximately 110 employees.
