Maguire Agency’s Sundeen Named Minnesota Agent of the Year

Matt Sundeen, vice president of sales and commercial lines producer at Maguire Agency, has been named Agent of the Year for 2013 by the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers (MIIAB).

Sundeen was chosen for his commitment to the industry, to clients and to the community.

Sundeen, a resident of Roseville, Minn., has been with Maguire Agency since 1994. He is involved in the insurance industry and the greater business community serving on several boards, including three terms on the International Association of Structural Movers board, and past presidencies of the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents Region 9 and the MidStates Housemovers Association, where he continues to serves on multiple committees.

He has a bachelor’s degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and maintains his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designations.

Sundeen contributes to the community as a board member and coach for the Roseville Area Youth Hockey Association, past chair of the Roseville Education Planning Advisory Committee; and past president of the Roseville 707 Rotary Club and Roseville Area Schools Foundation.
