Euclid Managers Appoints Golonka as Senior VP, Public Entity

Euclid Managers, an underwriting manager and program administrator based in Itasca, Ill., announced the appointment of Chris Golonka as senior vice president and manager of its public entity division.

Golonka was previously vice president of the public entity group at Genesis Management Insurance Services Inc., a subsidiary of General Reinsurance Corp.

Golonka joins Euclid Managers with more than 15 years of underwriting and management experience in the public entity, scholastic and non-profit sectors. Prior to his position at Genesis, Golonka held vice president positions at ACE USA and Munich Re America.

Euclid Managers’ Public Entity Division underwrites property/casualty and professional liability products for municipalities, counties and special service districts throughout most of the United States. Coverage is provided by the Scottsdale Insurance group of companies.

In addition to its Public Entity products, Euclid Managers and its affiliated companies – Euclid Executive Liability Managers and Euclid Specialty Managers – administer various programs in the professional liability and executive protection marketplace.
