Glenview, Ill.-based insurance wholesaler Highland Risk Services announced an exclusive partnership with Ironshore to provide liability insurance for the empirical risk program, which is designed specifically for continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). It recognizes and rewards CCRCs for their designation as “best in class” among long-term care industry groups.
CCRCs, which combine at least three levels of care – independent living, assisted living and nursing care in a single setting – traditionally outperform other types of senior living facilities within the long-term care industry.
Ironshore, through its IronHealth division, will provide general liability, professional liability and excess liability coverage for CCRCs insured through the empirical risk program.
Highland Risk Services operates on a national basis from offices in Glenview, Ill., and Mason, Mich.
