CNA Financial Corporation promoted Matt Szabo to assistant vice president, commercial underwriting officer for the Chicago, Illinois and Wisconsin branches.
Szabo will work with leadership to provide additional strategic underwriting support for all areas of CNA’s commercial offerings. This includes strategic and referral assistance in the areas of large property, casualty, inland marine, ocean marine, foreign and umbrella.
Szabo joined CNA in 2009 as a middle market underwriter, and has since held the positions of underwriting manager and branch underwriting director for the Chicago branch.
