CNA has promoted Chris Heckman to assistant vice president and hospital industry leader in chicago. Heckman will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hospital line of business, as well as provide strategic and tactical assistance to leadership within CNA’s healthcare segment.
Heckman joined CNA in 2012. In addition to his extensive underwriting experience, Heckman has also worked as an insurance agent, serving hospitals, physicians and other medical professionals, a perspective that will serve him well in is new role.
Heckman holds numerous industry accreditations including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Associate Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS).
