A North Dakota man was killed while working at an asphalt production plant in central South Dakota.
Sully County Sherriff Bill Stahl told KCCR radio that 66-year-old Jerold Walth of Wishek, North Dakota, was performing maintenance on equipment at the asphalt plant Monday evening when he got caught up in a conveyor. It happened at a plant about seven miles northwest of Harrold.
Stahl says Walth was pronounced dead at the scene.
