Chicago-based insurer CNA appointed John Mizzi to senior vice president, Commercial Field Operations, effective Feb. 16, 2016.
Mizzi will be responsible for integrating and accelerating CNA’s Commercial underwriting strategies, deepening CNA’s market presence and shaping a portfolio of profitable business. He will report to Kevin Leidwinger, president and chief operating officer, Commercial Insurance.
Mizzi joins CNA with 24 years of insurance experience. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and Eastern Territory field underwriting officer at Chubb, where he was responsible for the company’s property and casualty business in a territory comprised of 24 offices generating in excess of $1.7 billion in revenue.
