Medication Errors at Minnesota Hospitals Resulted in 4 Deaths Last Year

    With the fact that half of these occurred after dismissal from the hospital, this should not be considered as an error. The hospital has little to no control over this part of the treatment.

    The fact that the state reports these when virtually no other states do, this should be comforting to Minnesota residents as their state actually displays transparency. With this transparency comes improvement.

    One cannot help but wonder how many of these problems with prescriptions occurred due to the stronger opioids now administered.
