The National Weather Service confirms a tornado caused damage in a southwest Ohio village near Dayton.
There were no immediate reports of injuries from the March 14 tornado. The National Weather Service says the EF-1 tornado touched down in Phillipsburg in Montgomery County at 2:19 p.m. An EF1 means winds reached speeds between 86-110 mph.
Officials say the tornado caused some property damage throughout the Phillipsburg area and leveled a barn.
National Weather Service meteorologists planned to make additional surveys on Tuesday at sites in Miami, Darke and Preble counties that were also hit by storms on Monday.
