Buckeye State Mutual Insurance Co. (BSMIC), headquartered in Piqua, Ohio, has appointed John Brooks executive vice president and chief operations officer (COO).
Brooks joined Buckeye in August of 2001 as assistant vice president of Claims and was later appointed to senior vice president of Insurance Operations and COO in March of 2003.
He holds ARe, AIM, AIC and CPCU designations from the Insurance Institute of America.
Buckeye State Mutual currently markets insurance products in Ohio, Indiana, Kansas, South Dakota, Colorado and Georgia.
