The Allstate Corp. has promoted Patrick Macellaro, vice president, Investor Relations, to president of the Encompass insurance companies.
Macellaro will report to Don Civgin, president, Emerging Businesses.
Macellaro has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and finance industry. He originally joined Allstate in 1995 and returned in 2003 after several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers. During his Allstate career, he held various roles in the Finance and Product organizations supporting both home office and agency operations.
Encompass provides its signature package policy in a number of states, as well as other personal insurance products to consumers with extensive protection needs. Part of the Allstate group of companies, Encompass distributes its personal insurance products through independent agents.
